One of the reasons people get into bad credit is poor financial management and before we can get a person onto the path to good credit we need to know the root cause of their woes, credit cards are a particular weakness to many people, beacause its a plastic card it gives them the impression that they're not really spending money, and then they get a shock when the bills pile up. I often advice those who've been affected to use credit cards for bad credit as a starting point in rebuilding their ratings.
The irony is the main cause of bad credit is also the quickest solution in rebuilding a broken credit rating!
